Description

Set off a grand JRPG adventure of swords, spells and monsters... with a single finger! Tap to attack monsters, level up your abilities and upgrade your weapon and spells. Explore new areas and find treasures. Be a hero and save the world from evil threat!

History

Final Meteor is a mixture of today's clicker genre and 8-bit console JRPGs. Player becomes a hero with a sword and a shield and travels though various worlds fighting JRPG style monsters. From a plain grassy field to a land of ice and lava to a tower of the evil master, Final Meteor mimics the progression of an old-school JRPG. Unlike endless incremental clickers, we built the game to be about 10~15 hours long with an ending scene after beating the final boss to make the gameplay feel like a mini-JRPG experience. Early Dragon Quest series and Phantasy Star series became the inspiration for the graphics, and of course, sound effects and BGMs are fully 8-bit chiptune.

Features

  • Classic JRPG atmosphere complete with 8-bit pixel art and chiptune soundtracks
  • 7 areas, 35 stages, 34 epic boss battles (and yes, a proper RPG ending!)
  • Stat point system, level up your hero in the direction you want
  • 60+ unique monsters
  • 50 collectible treasures
  • 10+ hours of playtime
